This qualification develops Learners’ health and safety awareness in the workplace. It covers understanding risk assessment, identifying and controlling the risks from common workplace hazards, the legal requirements related to health and safety in the workplace and what to do in response to accidents and incidents at work. This qualification specification provides information for Centres about the delivery of the QA Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace (RQF) and includes the unit information, assessment methods and quality assurance arrangements.
